Ready - Go eHealth?
Details
In Denmark, it has been proven over and over that digitalization within healthcare is a harsh mistress. However, things are starting to happen in a few regions of the Kingdom; things that might foster a breakthrough in the coming years - especially for healthcare innovators seeking to provide data to the public system(s). The next Health 2.0 CPH meetup will focus on just this; how to integrate with two future healthcare systems:
-
The EpicCare system: The EpicCare system (used by US health giant "Kaiser Permanente") has been chosen as the main system in both the Capital Region and the Zealand Region. Further, implementation of the EpicCare system has already begun in a few hospitals.
-
OpenTeleHealth: Recently, the OpenTeleHealth solution has been chosen by Danish regional health authorities as the national cloud-based platform that enables healthcare professionals to do remote monitoring of patients at home.
To explore these new possibilities for deploying digital health solutions, Health 2.0. CPH has invited representatives from the regional health authorities and the OpenTeleHealth platform.
• Martin Sølvkjær, MD & Head of section, Centre for IT, Medico and Telecommunications (CIMT) (https://www.regionh.dk/english/about-the-capital-region/central-administration-of-the-region/Pages/Centre-for-IT,-Medico-and-Telecommunications.aspx).
• Henrik L. Ibsen, CEO, OpenTeleHealth (http://opentelehealth.com/).
• Brian Hedegaard, DELTA
Moderator: To be announced
The Meetup will be organized as a panel conversation with attendees. Topics such as data security and other regulatory requirements will be part of the debate. Attendees are encouraged to present to the panel their digital health case no matter the development stage (idea, prototype, on-the-market).
If you want to present your digital health case, please contact the organizers.
