Digital People in Peterborough (DPiP) - August 2023

This month we welcome MRKsteels – a multi-skilled artist using water, light and sound to create abstract art. By combining science and art, he has developed a unique process following Hans Jenny allowing the naked eye to witness sound.

The geometric shapes derived from his voice are a true representation of the vibrations. This method of this art is called Cymatics – The study of Sound

"I had always had a passion for visualizing sound and experimenting on the side of career so I decided to use my voice to visualize my beatboxing sounds. By combining water, light and sound we reveal the secrets of sacred geometry which is called Cymatics."
