It's a free event, and you can turn up on the night, but letting us know in advance means we have enough chairs and space for everyone.

• What we'll do
Videogames are a bigger industry than films and music - combined. And it impacts our behaviour outside of virtual worlds. We'll look at modern and retro gaming, how it fuels platforms like Youtube, hands-on demos and more.

Working on a game? Why not try it with some real-life beta testers.

All the equipment has been kindly supplied for the evening by incredibly generous volunteers. Please respect that this is both personal to them and valuable.
