The Million Dollar Idea: ICTSA Startup Competition

The Million Dollar Idea is back, bigger than ever! For the third consecutive year, ICTSA is organising this event to encourage students to take their innovative business ideas and turn them into reality. This year the event will be open to all persons over the age of 16 (including non IT students) allowing everyone a chance to explore the world of business and entrepreneurship. Entrance is free.

The event welcomes both individuals and teams (maximum of 4 per team) to work together for a whole weekend at MIC and come up with an IT-based business idea to be presented to our panel of expert judges. Each team will be aided by a group of experienced mentors who will be guiding the teams towards a successful completion of their project. Work spaces will be set up at the Microsoft Innovation Centre and participants can work and sleep overnight; alternatively participants can work from home.

Competitors are required to pitch their idea and presentation along with a basic business plan, market research and the overall strategy over the weekend. More information at: http://www.tmdi.ictsamalta.org
