The event will be at the Market Hall in Devonport (https://realideas.org/our-spaces/market-hall/).
Our Speakers for the evening:
Jim Bishop and James Bishop
James is a Digital Construction Manager as well as an ambassador for NIMA. As part of his role James manages the Devon & Cornwall region for Kier Construction along side his normal role, he focusses himself around the application of software and technology into the business and the benefit it brings across all areas of the business, embodying the "Digital by Default" policy that Kier operates.
Jim’s thirst for technology and development has now led him to become a highly regarded industry innovator experienced across multi-disciplines
of drone technology and drone integration within the construction and property industries. Jim very quickly saw the potential for using commercial drones as a data gathering tool within his areas of expertise and started to develop new ways to analyse this data more efficiently saving clients time and money.
Louiza Youlzari
Louiza is a Programme Manager for SWGfL, one of the three partners which form the UK Safer Internet Centre. Over the last 12 years she has been involved in delivering online safety and media literacy projects and programmes for the UK Safer Internet Centre, Home Office, DCMS, Welsh Government, the Department for Education and many more. Originally from Bulgaria, Louiza is now also pursuing a qualification in coaching.
Chris Phippen
Chris is the founder of software development consultancy Hatless Studios, who more recently has been delving into the 'big scaries' of the industry. He's an interdisciplinary thinker and communicator now focused on existential risk awareness as well as supporting the local business community with technology. He vows to talk about ChatGPT as little as possible.
