Digitalise Africa Initiative : Our First Meetup

Meetup’s primary aim is largely to interact and know ourselves better; and explore our various perspectives to the vision of this organisation. However, we will be using the opportunity to elaborate on what direction we are heading, the working model and future goals. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to also present /discuss interesting topic(s) that we may benefit from.

So we are working around the following subject areas :

1. Digitalise Africa Initiative: vision, objectives, working model and the future.
2. Identify development domains to focus on and solicit volunteers to be head of think-tank for each domain.
3. Tech start ups: How-to and challenges

This is a tentative agenda and therefore subject to changes, which we will communicate if there are any, leading to the event day. Please feel free to let us know if you have any ideas or presentation that you would like to work on.

We are specifically looking for someone who can speak on item 3 because we find that very vital to our future operations. So if you are a start-up expert or know someone who is, could you please contact me as soon as you can?

I believe the success of this pilot event will set the stage and direction of our future Meetups , projects and their implementations.

We will be communicating other event modalities in due time.
