What we’re about
This group is all about meeting people who are interested in digital technology and the online world. Whether you're a developer, designer, student, entrepreneur, teacher, hobbyist or self confessed tech addict, this group is for you.
We're a friendly bunch, open to all ages and technical abilities. We aim to build the tech community here in Lincoln, sharing ideas and knowledge through a schedule of informal events and socials.
We have around 1,500 members and have host events once a month on a Tuesday evening (usually the last Tuesday of the month). We're trying to alternate between both technical and non-technical topics so we can make sure there is something for everybody.
Digital Lincoln would like to thank Mosaic Lincoln and Business Lincolnshire for their support in helping us put on events.

Jake was a Navigator of the Royal Australian Air Force, flying primarily on the F-111 aircraft. His experience ranges from completing the RAF Aerosystems Course (enabling him to work as an aircrew liaison between the Australian Defence Material Organisation and the RAAF) through to training new F-111 students as an Instructor Navigator. Jake has a unique combination of software and technical skills combined with aviation and military background, enabling him to design world beating solutions within the Mission Systems field.Jake is Head of Technical for Inzpire, a Lincoln based company who develops mission critical software for the Ministry of Defence. They scooped two accolades at the recent Lincolnshire Digital & Tech Awards, feature in the Sunday Times Top 100 small businesses to work for and hold a Queens Award for Enterprise in Innovation.
Outside of work, Jake can be found either relaxing with a good glass of wine and a cheese platter, experimenting with computer code, or jetting off to far away travel destinations. He loves living in England but constantly moans about the weather and misses owning a barbeque.
