Workshop : No More Bad Design!

Details

We encounter situations where design fails us everyday. Whether it's a confusing sign that results in a parking ticket, an online form that forces you to start over when you try to modify one thing, or a customer service call where 15 minutes and 5 transfers later you still don't have a clear answer, these events are not just frustrating but can often negatively impact our day and sometimes even our life.

This workshop is centered around Don Norman's The Design of Everyday Things and how design is responsible for acting as the communication between an object and user but often falls short.

If you're new to UX design, join us as we walk through hands-on exercises introducing how to use design thinking as a framework for reframing problems and rethinking experiences.

Participants will learn to break down design in everyday products, digital experiences and services to develop empathy, define problems, and ideate solutions.
