Talk: Trust Is the Strategy: AI, Alignment, and Building a Business Around You

AI has made it easier than ever to create content, and with so many people using the same tools, prompts, and strategies, a lot of what we see online starts to sound the same. This talk is about what makes you stand out in that landscape: trust.

Jazzie walks through three kinds of trust. The trust your audience has in you, and how your story, perspective, and lived experience make your work impossible to copy. The trust you have in the life you want, using her own business model as a case study for building around a defined life with room to breathe. And the trust you have in yourself, with a practical look at fear as useful information when you're ready for your next leap.

Attendees will leave with a clearer sense of what makes their work their own, a way to build a business that supports the life they want, and one right-sized step to take this week.

Jazzie Newton

Jazzie Newton is a business alignment and growth partner for coaches and entrepreneurs and the founder of Just Jazzie. She works across every level of business, from strategy and offers to brand, websites, and backend systems, to marketing and PR, helping her clients build businesses that are an honest reflection of who they are and a tool to live the life they desire. Jazzie has worked with more than 25 coaches in 5 years from every seat in the industry: as a client, as a coach herself, and behind the scenes in their businesses. Today she runs her own business structured around alignment from Barcelona.

Philip Bush (Moderator)

Phil has spent over twenty years in rooms where people are supposed to be communicating but often aren't.
He works with leaders and teams across financial services, technology and airlines. His style is relaxed, straightforward, practical and entirely jargon-free.
Phil is the founder of The Inspired Solution and, when he isn't in Lisbon, you'll find him running workshops and training programmes in the UK, Australia and Europe.
He's running this session because he genuinely believes most communication problems are solvable - often quickly and with the right conversation.

Maria Gonzalez (Panelist)

Maria Paula is a psychologist and entrepreneur with a decade of international experience across Africa, Asia, and Europe, including work with the World Health Organization’s mental‑health unit.
She also co‑founded Unandi, a platform connecting Spanish‑speaking communities with professionals. She champions practical tools for career reinvention.

Gustavo Moraes (Panelist)

Gustavo is a Lead AI Product Engineer with 8 years of experience building digital solutions, now focused on AI agents, LLM workflows, and image recognition. He believes that great products require great taste and sensitivity to UX, accessibility, and future resiliency. He has built an AI-tailored language learning app and a security monitoring system, and has worked on one of Apple's content management systems responsible for deploying thousands of user-facing pages. Passionate about technology, he is a certified AWS Solutions Architect fluent in major programming languages and frameworks.

Dan Shine (Panelist)

Dan is a CTI-trained executive coach, international speaker, and award-winning leader.
With 15 years of experience across entrepreneurship, leadership, theater, cyber intelligence, real estate, mentorship, and personal growth, Dan brings a unique blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and deep curiosity about how people grow, lead, and come alive.
He has led award-winning cyber teams, trained software engineers, built international businesses, raised over $1.5M in cash, and mentored hundreds of young entrepreneurs through the communities and programs he created.
Today, Dan partners with organizations and talent to create meaningful growth through leadership, coaching, and human development

Rafael Ribeiro (Panelist)

Rafael is Academy Trainer and AI Coach at Oktogon Labs, where he helps teams and organisations adopt AI without the hype and without the burnout. A software developer for 20 years before turning to human development, he is a postgraduate in Expressive Arts in Therapy and Education, a certified ICAgile Expert Team Coach, and a professional surf instructor.
He founded HuLogiks and Abundance Flow. He teaches AI the way he teaches surfing: analogies first, no jargon, and a lot of falling in.

Cognitive Surrender: How AI Can Quietly Take Over Your Thinking

Your AI assistant is fast, fluent and never says “I’m not sure.” That’s exactly the problem. New Wharton research shows that people follow AI advice even when it’s wrong, and feel more confident doing it. We’ll look at what researchers call “cognitive surrender”, why it hits marketing hard (but reaches every function), and the simple habits that keep you the author of your own decisions, not just the editor of the machine’s.

Gustavo Burnier

Gustavo is a CRO and CMO who has scaled B2B & B2C companies through growth, turnaround and transformation. At Usercentrics, he grew revenue 135% in two years and reached profitability ahead of plan. At GoodHabitz, he deployed 60 AI agents across the business, saving 35,000 hours.
He came up through marketing and went on to run the full revenue engine: brand, demand generation, sales, customer success and RevOps. He advises PE- and VC-backed scale-ups and sits on the Supervisory Board of Fairphone.
