# Build Your Own Marketing Page with Claude Code

In this hands-on 4‑hour workshop, you’ll learn how to build your own marketing page using Claude Code and Astro—from your very first prompt to a fully published URL you can share. You don’t need to know how to code; you just need curiosity and a willingness to try a few new tools.
Marketers are often stuck between page builders that fight every change and developer backlogs that move too slowly for campaigns. Today, AI coding assistants like Claude Code are finally good enough to build the kinds of pages marketers actually need: landing pages, campaign pages, portfolios, and microsites. That’s exactly what we’ll work on together.
This workshop is not about becoming a developer. It’s about learning a practical workflow: how to brief an AI coding assistant, evaluate the output, improve the page, and publish it yourself—quickly and confidently.

## Who This Workshop Is For

This workshop is designed for digital marketers, creators, founders, and communicators who want to build and update their own pages without waiting on a developer or fighting rigid templates.
No coding experience is required. You’ll be guided step‑by‑step, including through the parts with unfamiliar names, so nothing is left for you to figure out alone.

## What You Will Walk Away With

By the end of the 4 hours, you’ll have a fully functional page—built by you with AI—live on the internet.
You’ll also learn how to:

• Build a new marketing page on your own in an afternoon
• Write prompts that generate genuinely useful output (and avoid generic “AI slop”)
• Apply practical design fundamentals: typography, iconography, color, layout
• Update copy, visuals, and layout yourself—and publish changes instantly
• Reuse the same workflow for future campaigns, experiments, and microsites
• Add new pages or blog posts independently
• Communicate more effectively with developers about your site

## What This Workshop Is Not

• Not a coding course
• Not for building shops, booking systems, or full web apps
• Not a lecture—this is a hands‑on building session

## High-Level Schedule (4 Hours)

• 1. Setup (30 min): What Claude Code is, why it matters, and preparing your laptop
• 2. Your First Page, Live (55 min): Build and publish a real page end‑to‑end
• 3. Prompting Like a Pro (30 min): How to write prompts that get what you actually want
• 4. Make It Look Great (60 min): Practical design moves for non‑designers
• 5. Add a Blog the Easy Way (25 min): Claude‑generated posts, no admin panel needed
• 6. Polish & Questions (20 min): Fixes, finishing touches, and next steps

Short break included halfway through.

## What to Bring

• A laptop (Mac preferred, Windows works)
• A Claude Pro subscription (or ChatGPT Pro if you prefer Codex)
• Optional: your own text, photos, or logo to personalize your page

You’ll receive a short setup checklist beforehand so the technical prep doesn’t cut into the hands‑on time.

## Tools You’ll Use

• Claude Code — AI assistant that builds the page with you
• OpenAI Codex — alternative if you prefer OpenAI
• VS Code — code editor where the AI runs
• Astro — modern framework with no plugin headaches
• Vercel — where your site will live (free tier is enough)

You don’t need to learn these tools in depth—you’ll use them, see them, and leave with a working setup.

## After the Workshop

Once you’re comfortable with your page, the next steps are simple: connecting a custom domain, adding newsletter signups, analytics, forms, tracking pixels, or a portfolio gallery. Each of these is a small lesson you can run with Claude.
