Workshop: Build your website with AI: Replace WordPress with Claude Code
WordPress has served us well, but it is also slow, insecure and hard to customize. Let's be honest, when WordPress celebrates its 23rd birthday on May 27th, it's maybe time to send it into its well deserved retirement. The age of AI is here and Claude Code is now the cool kid in block, allowing anyone to build amazing stuff - even without coding knowledge.
In this workshop you'll learn how to use Claude Code to build a fast and fancy landing page using Astro. We'll explore how we can integrate it with EmDash CMS, the spiritual successor of WordPress for the age of AI.. And we'll learn some tricks to produce cool stuff rather than AI slop.
Prerequisites
What you need to bring
Claude Pro subscription or higher (includes Claude Code). Alternatively an OpenAI Codex Pro subscription will also do
Ideally a MacBook, though Windows is also possible
Some tech affinity is of advantage
