With the theme of Open Source and AI, this event is perfect for developers, open-source enthusiasts, and anyone curious about contributing to impactful projects while sharpening their skills.

Here is a glance at whats in store (Detailed agenda below):

* **DAY 1 -** This event will start with **registering your teams on 10/3** at the **Okta NYC Office** followed by a **session by MLH and** **workshops by Auth0 and DigitalOcean Gradient (TM) AI** followed by networking and ideation.
* **DAY 2** \- On **10/4, all teams will come to the venue and will complete the hack and present their projects to the panel of judges** and that will be followed by announcing 3 winners who would be **winning exclusive prizes worth $400 for the winners, along with Hacktoberfest T-Shirts and more!**

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced contributor, this is a great opportunity to learn, build, and be part of the open-source community and not to mention win something awesome!

**Detailed Agenda:**

**Day 1 -**

* Opening and welcome by Carson
* Session/welcome note by MLH
* Session by Amit J (DigitalOcean)
* Session by Aydrian (Auth0)
* Idea brainstorming with the participants & registering repos

Day 2 :

* 10 am - Doors open & snacks/coffee
* 11 am - 1 pm - Hack time
* 1pm -2 pm - Lunch
* 2 - 3 pm - Hack completion
* 3.15 pm onwards - Judging and review
* 4 pm onwards - rewards & recognition followed by networking over snacks

2. Bring your laptops/required hardware for the presentation on the second day

❓**FAQs**
**I’m new to coding / open source. Can I still join?**
Absolutely! Hacktoberfest is beginner-friendly and designed for everyone. You don’t need years of coding experience. Curiosity and willingness to learn are all you need. We’ll have mentors, volunteers, and peers who can help you get started.

**Do I need to come with a team or a project idea?**
Nope! You can join solo, and we’ll help match you with others who want to collaborate. We’ll also share project ideas and challenges to spark inspiration if you’re not sure what to build.

**Is this event only for experienced developers?**
Definitely not. We’ll have people at all skill levels, from those just learning HTML/CSS or Python to senior engineers. The event is about collaboration, creativity, and celebrating open source together.

**What if I can’t stay the whole time?**
That’s okay. While we encourage you to join for the full day (so you can submit a project and enjoy the wrap-up), you’re welcome to participate at your own pace.

**Is there a cost to attend?**
Nope! this event is completely free to attend. Plus, you’ll get access to swag, prizes, and food during the day.

**What should I bring?**
Bring your laptop, charger, and curiosity. That’s it! We’ll provide the space, WiFi, snacks, and community vibes.
