Chef Jeremy Salamon takes inspiration (and the restaurant’s name) from his Hungarian grandmother for a delightfully casual but fine-tuned effort. Much of the salad-and-sandwich-dominant menu here is dedicated to luxurious takes on Hungarian Jewish-American classics reimagined for the modern table. Yes, there are crepes — thin, delicate and none too sweet — but there’s also cheesecake.

This meal will be a la carte.
