Nigerian Dinner at Radio Kwara
Details
From the folks behind Dept. of Culture, this modern Nigerian restaurant is a more casual alternative. Nigeria’s suya spice blend, prickly with chiles and onion, is “the grandfather of American barbecue.” The menu offering dishes such as Pounded Yam, Guinea Fowl, Charred Suya Octopus and Goat Meat Pepper Soup. Despite the tiny size — Balogun calls it a buka, a Nigerian term for a hole-in-the-wall, which undersells its manicured coziness a bit — it’s never too hard to get into.
This meal will be a la carte.
