UWS Dinner at French Roast

Open since 1995, French Roast is neither trendy nor exceptional. It is, however, an unpretentious spot where you can eat straightforward French food alongside a crowd of people who’ve lived in the neighborhood for several decades. The room has worn tile floors, burgundy banquettes, and lots of vintage knickknacks, and there’s a TV in the corner that might be playing Law & Order when you stop by. This meal will be 3 course prix fixe, drinks will be separate. Estimate $59 per person (tax & tip included).
