My work as an advocate and artist is to help people through that process; for the good parts and the really challenging ones.”
Lindsey was crowned the winner of the Gold Coast Arts Center’s Your Big Break Competition, and performed for major regional annual events including the Montauk Music Festival and the Hudson Valley “Music Networking Conference.” Furthermore, she was hand selected by former VP of Warner Chappell Music, Judy Stakee, to be a songwriter for her company’s songwriting retreat.
Phil Kennelty:
Phil was born and raised on the outskirts of The City: New York City!! He has played various venues throughout the metropolitan area both as a solo act and as a member of numerous Rock, Country and Americana bands.
Taylor Hogan:
This kind of feels like a bit of old school Loretta Lynn style, some Johnny Cash storytelling, with a youthful infusion and an AC/DC type kick in the … !” That’s how one music industry veteran referred to the upcoming second EP release from singer/songwriter Taylor Hogan. Sure, that’s a high bar to be reaching for – but once you get to know this determined young artist, you’ll also realize she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Currently finishing up her degree in Songwriting at Lipscomb University in Tennessee, Taylor hails from Long Island, New York. She first hit the stage for a singing competition in middle school, and that passion for music & performance motivated her ever since. She went on to win “Long Island Idol“ at age 13, began writing music while attending Long Island High School for the Arts, and won the annual “Stage Competition” at Five Towns College for Music. Along the way, she lent her lyrical talents and unique vocal stylings to the song “Break My Heart” by Stockholm based EDM DJ/Producer B3nte, which garnered over 2 million Spotify streams.
Having moved to Nashville at age 19 to hone her musical artistry, in just a few years Taylor caught the attention of a team of producers, songwriters and music professionals with Grammy-winning and major label & publishing collaborations to their credit. Newsday commented on her debut EP “Wonderland”, it “features plenty of catchy country songs, awash in acoustic guitar and clever lines”. Mix 104.1 WBMX FM radio Boston featured her leadoff single “Girls Like You” as an Artist Spotlight and “officially one of our Best of 2019”. Among others, Taylor’s EP also caught the attention of multiple Grammy-winner Carl Jackson, whom she had the honor of joining on stage.
Taylor is looking forward to releasing her second EP this year, recently described as equal parts catchy melodies, distinct vocal delivery, country rock hooks with traditional Nashville relatable storytelling … and sharing her music while hopefully ampin’ up audiences across America!
