What we’re about
—WELCOME! I encourage you to mingle and build long-lasting relationships. My weekly events will be on a M-F and are typically limited to 6-8 friends. I do my best to reserve the best table in the house and prefer round tables whenever possible. I don’t want anyone left out of the conversation and fun. :)
—ATTENDANCE POLICY: If you RSVP, please consider it a commitment (not a temporary hold). Once marked as “attending”, I respectfully ask you to avoid cancelations, no shows and late arrivals. If you frequently sign up and then cancel, you will be removed from the group. I realize this attendance policy is stricter than most Meetup groups but my goal is to create a group of committed friends who rarely cancel on one another.
—WAITLIST: Meetup will AUTOMATICALLY move you into the event when a spot opens (you will NOT get a personal text or email). Suggestion, if you sign up for the waitlist, please put the event in your calendar (ie. “Waitlisted for Dining with Friends”). If another opportunity presents itself, please check your status BEFORE making other plans. If you have been moved into the “attending” slot, please consider yourself committed to the event (as you have been holding this spot from others). If you have NOT been moved into an attending spot, and wish to make other plans, please remove yourself from the waitlist. My goal…once you are on the attending list, you will be committed to the event and rarely cancel…just as you do when making plans with a personal friend. :)
—ALWAYS THE EXCEPTION: If you are sick, cancel and let me know.
—PROFILE PIC: This photo needs to be a picture of you. It’s the first step in getting to know one another.
— THANK YOU FOR READING: If you feel like we are a good match, please join. If you do NOT feel like you can commit to our attendance policy, I encourage you to find your match elsewhere. Meetup has many great options! :)
