Welcome to our Dinner & Dancing meetup group.
Why should you join us? . To enjoy a pleasant evening of dancing, eating good food, and meeting new people.. I will be teaching a dance lesson to start, so yes beginners are welcome.
This is a chance to become a flower instead of a wallflower... a chance to have a left AND a right foot, not 2 left feet... a chance to make your wife (who loves to dance) very happy, . and a chance to make new friends (whether you come alone or with someone). ... My goal is to create places where people can come together, dance, talk, and enjoy a meal together.
There are two friendly social events that I offer.
*Tuesday Night Social Dance
We start with a dance lesson, followed by a social dance.
*Thursday Night Salsa Class
Beginner and Intermediate level students.

Lisa Skates has been teaching social dancing for 30 years in Manhattan, Queens, Westchester NY, and New Jersey.
She is the owner of Simply Social Dancing.
Her original studies were in Ballet, Jazz, Modern dance and Latin Rhythms.
Physical Therapy background and time competing in International Ballroom and Latin, lends to her ability to pinpoint the needs of each student.

She currently offers Salsa and Bachata classes in Bergen County. In addition, private lessons are available for Argentine Tango & West Coast Swing

Wedding Dances are a particular passion for her, creating a dance unique for each new couple.

7:00 to 8:15 pm Bachata Beginner and Advanced beginner class
Entry: $15.00 per week.
There is a discount for any student attending all 4 weeks of Bachata in a given month. Check with Lisa for this information.

The pace picks up as we go along.
