This Wednesday, DinnersMate is bringing together a small group of strangers for dinner — so you can meet people naturally, without awkward networking, speed dating or having to approach someone in a crowded bar.
Most guests come alone.
So if you're thinking “but I won't know anyone…” — neither will most of the table.
That's the point.
Prefer not to come alone? That’s absolutely fine too. You can bring a friend, partner or someone you’d like to share the experience with — you’ll still be seated with new people and be part of the same DinnersMate table.
🎟️ How to secure your seat
Your RSVP on Meetup lets us know you’re interested. Your seat is confirmed only after you book and pay in the DinnersMate app. Food and drinks are paid separately at the restaurant.

📍 We choose a restaurant in central Lisbon or an easily accessible area
✨ You simply show up and enjoy dinner
We put each table together with age, profiles and group dynamics in mind, aiming for a balanced mix of people who are likely to enjoy the evening together.
No speed dating.
No business networking.
No pressure.
Just good food, real conversation and people you haven't met yet.
The exact restaurant remains a little mystery and is shared with confirmed guests on Wednesday morning. 👀

Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Most people do.
Can I bring someone with me?
Of course. You can reserve for yourself or come with a friend, partner or companion. You’ll still join the table with the rest of the group and meet new people together.
Is this a dating event?
No. DinnersMate is about meeting new people and sharing a great social dinner.
Do I pay for dinner separately?
Yes. Your reservation secures your place at the table; food and drinks are paid directly at the restaurant.
Tables are intentionally kept small, so places are limited.
