This Friday, DinnersMate is bringing together a small group of people who haven’t met before for dinner in Lisbon — good food, easy conversation and the chance to meet someone you probably wouldn’t have crossed paths with otherwise.
Most guests come alone.
So if you’re wondering “will it be awkward if I don’t know anyone?” — that’s actually the whole idea.
Nobody needs to arrive with a group.
Prefer to bring someone? That’s absolutely fine too. You can come with a friend, partner or companion and still join the table with everyone else.

Your RSVP on Meetup lets us know you’re interested. Your seat is confirmed only after you book and pay in the DinnersMate app. Food and drinks are paid separately at the restaurant.

We put each table together with age, profiles and group dynamics in mind, aiming for a balanced mix of people who are likely to enjoy the evening together.

The exact restaurant stays a little mystery and is shared with confirmed guests on Friday morning. 👀

Is this a dating event?
No. DinnersMate is about meeting new people naturally over dinner.
Do I pay for dinner separately?
Yes. Your DinnersMate reservation secures your place at the table; food and drinks are paid directly at the restaurant.
Tables are intentionally kept small, so places are limited.
