Disability Social and Support Time!

Do Sunday afternoons bum you out cuz you're staring down another week at a job or school that doesn't properly accommodate your disability? Or maybe you can't work a full-time job and you're feeling really isolated? Or maybe you just need some support after living as a disabled person in an ableist world for another week?
It is hard for those of us with disabilities to not only deal with the disabilities themselves, but to also deal with the isolation and boredom that often comes with it. The good news is, we have this group on meetup where disabled people (any type of disability) can meet, make friends, and get support. And hey, have a few laughs while we're at it! Going forward, we will meet Sundays at 4pm (PST) on zoom to talk and give each other that community that many of us are missing. Meetings are very low stress and provides time to just chat and get to know people, but also time to offer support for our troubles with disabilities (although no therapist will be attending to give advice) If there is interest, we can also add time to play zoom games. Come add your spark to our fire, and let's make a little space that's just for us.
