Welcome to the Oracle Engineering office at Münchenbryggeriet. Here we are working on products like Java, the JVM and related technologies.
This time we will talk about what's been going in Java since version 8. We will also talk about the new Java release process. Tim Graves from Oracle UK will be our presenter.
Tim Graves is currently a Cloud Native Architect working for Oracle as part of the Europe, Middle East and Africa team. He joined Oracle as part of the Sun Microsystems acquisition in 2010.
He has been working on Cloud projects since 2011 in the communications, device and cloud teams.
In addition to IoT Tim has worked in many parts of Sun and Oracle in the areas of operating systems, security, Java, and storage in field and headquarters roles.
When not working with computers Tim is a keen skier and an unprofessional chef.
