HER STORY
This walk is an ode to all the Women who have directly and indirectly enriched Delhi’s cultural past. We will be exploring the lives of Mughal wives, Empresses, Begums and nautch girls through their architectural contributions within the old city of Shahjahanabad, their political deeds and their untold stories. So join us as we walk past the vibrant lanes of Chandni Chowk to redeem Delhi’s Her-story!
DATE: 13th December | Saturday
TIME: 10.30 am to 12.30 pm
START POINT: Infront of Red Fort Main Gate, opposite Jain Temple
End point: Fatehpuri Masjid
CONTRIBUTION:
Charges - 750.00 INR / person
Charges for a group of 3 or more - 700.00 INR / person

Essentials to wear and carry:
Wear comfortable pair of shoes or slippers.
Carry umbrella or cap to protect yourself from the sun.
Carry a stole or scarf to cover your head inside Fatehpuri Masjid.
Carry a bottle of water and edibles. HOW TO REACH THE 'Start Point':
- If you are coming via the metro then please get down at Chandni Chowk Metro Station (which is on yellow line that terminates at Jahangirpuri or Vishwavidyalaya) and take a rickshaw to the Red Fort. You will see barricades and that is where the rickshaw will drop you. The rickshaw should not charge you more than Rs. 20. - If you are coming via road then park your vehicle at the Red Fort parking and then walk down to the Red Fort Ticket Counter.
