Discover the Secrets of the Riverside Part 2: Cannon Street to Blackfriars

This is the second in a riverside series. The first walk went from Tower Bridge to London Bridge.

We will not only discover the secrets of the Thames along this, often overlooked, stretch of the river, but also focus on the story of a 'lost' ancient river. Oh, and we'll also talk about a 'lost' castle too!

During the afternoon we'll discover: the 'forgotten stream' and the mystery of the skulls; an ancient dock which is now a protected monument; the bridge with pulpits; a castle gifted to a Queen; the giant public toilet; and a visit to a 'museum' pub at the end. All this and much more!

1.45pm – Meet on the steps outside the main entrance of the Royal Exchange, Threadneedle Street. Look for the red Meetup sign
2.00pm – Prompt start of tour
3.30pm – Finish (approx time)
