This jog is about discovering the real side of Porto, where locals live, walk, train, and spend their daily lives, far from the usual tourist routes.

We’ll combine a light, social jog with moments of exploration and sightseeing through neighborhoods most visitors never see.

We’ll meet at Arca de Água, a green and calm area that connects us naturally to the eastern side of the city.

From there, we’ll jog through residential streets, local spots, and everyday Porto, the kind you experience only by moving through it.

Along the way, I’ll also show you areas where, just 30 years ago, Porto was still pure farmland, completely rural, a side of the city few people know today.

We’ll pass by Estádio do Dragão, and continue through nearby areas offering unexpected views over the river and the city. This part of the route blends urban life with open perspectives, a side of Porto most people don’t associate with sightseeing.

We’ll finish at Parque de São Roque, a peaceful green space with gardens and open paths, perfect for slowing down, stretching, and chatting after the run.

The jog takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, with short breaks along the way to enjoy the landscape, take in the views, and explore the surrounding

This is an informal jog among friends. Everyone joins at their own pace and comfort level. Please note that you participate under your own responsibility, especially in case of any injury or health condition. The spirit is simple: move, enjoy, and connect.

Come meet new people, move your body, and discover a different side of Porto in the morning light.

If you enjoyed the Casa da Música to Sea run, this is its more local, raw, and unexpected sibling.

Looking forward to exploring another side of Porto together. 🏃‍♂️🏙️🌿
