Onigiri

Onigiri originated in Japan 2,300 years ago and has developed a unique food culture as the soul food of Japanese people. It’s very healthy, portable, inexpensive, and comes in a variety of shapes.
Onigiris are often seen in Japanese manga and anime,
and have spread widely overseas through them and SNS.
In March 2024, the word “onigiri” was added to the oxford dictionary.
