Join Jessica Stokes & Amanda McKoy Flanagan for a unique afternoon of exploring grief through community storytelling.

Each participant in this supportive space will write one paragraph, consecutively, that becomes part of a shared story exploring grief — weaving together multiple perspectives into one unified narrative. Amanda & Jessica will offer various prompts to which the group will select one to build upon. They will lead you through a short somatic exercise to ground into the moment, followed by writing. A volunteer will read the completed story aloud and the group will reflect on the passage.

You will leave with insights into your own grief journey, including emotions you may not have yet named as well as a feeling of being seen and understood by honoring each other's stories without judgment, and useful tools such as how to use metaphor, the 3 C's of writing, and creativity to strengthen your writing, and more.

COST: $59.00
