Get ready to experience the beauty of spring in full bloom! 🌷🌿
Join us for a morning hike at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park, the largest of the Columbus Metro Parks, located on the western edge of the city. With over 20 miles of trails, this park offers some of the best spring wildflower viewing around.
We’ll hike the 2.5-mile Cedar Ridge Trail, a favorite route for spotting native wildflowers like:
🌸 Spring beauties
💙 Virginia bluebells
🤍 Dutchman’s breeches
This trail offers gently rolling terrain, peaceful woodland views, and plenty of opportunities for wildflower photos and nature appreciation.
What to Bring:

• Comfortable hiking shoes
• Water bottle
• Camera or phone for flower-spotting
• Sunscreen/bug spray if needed

🌼 Hike Difficulty: Easy to moderate, with time to stop and admire the scenery.
