Let’s hike in the Saxon Switzerland National Park in Germany! You will see the top landmark of the park – Bastei Bridge and a few other, less touristy super scenic places!
On top of that, you will learn a ton of interesting information about the area and (hopefully) make new friends!
PLAN OF THE DAY
Meeting at 8:15 by the Sixt office at the bus parking lot on the roof of the Main Train Station (Praha – Hlavní nádraží).
On Google maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/eL5NUZSa8uJABAEn7We will travel by a privately chartered bus. The journey to the trailhead including a service station stop takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
FOOD
There will be opportunities to buy food and drink along the route. We will have cca 30 min picnic break at a scenic spot.Expected arrival back to Prague is around 20:15 but a delay is possible. Don’t plan anything important after the trip!
DIFFICULTY: MEDIUM
(13 km of walking with 300 meters of vertical gain, the route includes steep stairs and uneven surfaces)MUST HAVE WITH YOU
You will be going abroad so you have to have a Personal ID with you, i.e. national ID card or passport!
