Hello Discoverers!

This is walk is for all of you who stay in Prague for Easter.
We will meet at the Main Train Station (hlavní nádraží) and take a train to Prague – Kolovraty. You will only need Prague Lítačka card or a validated 30-min ticket to board the train.

From Kolovraty, we will walk across meadows, along a creek, through a couple of villages and a forest. All within the Botič – Milíčov Natural Park.
Apart from the last 500 meters and one viewing point overlooking the cityscape in the distance, you won’t feel like being in Prague at all.

In case you wonder, in the profile photo of this trip is Koniklec (Pulsatilla). It is a little hairy plant, blossoming around Easter, hence its English name Pasque Flower.
Hopefully we see it in full blossom during our walk!

DIFFICULTY: Easy to Medium
Around 10 km/6 miles, on paved and unpaved streets and foot trails. Mostly flat, in total about 90 meters / 300 ft of elevation gain.

MEETING POINT
We will meet at 10:00 at the Main Train Station (the usual spot on the lower ground floor in front of the ticket office – PHOTO). If you can not find us call me at +420 739 370 212.
Don’t be late, our train leaves at 10:21!

We should complete the route by 14:00. The end point will be at “Háje” from where you can easily get back to the centre by the metro.
As always, I have booked a restaurant for a well-deserved lunch after the walk.

BRING WITH YOU

• Comfortable walking shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.
• An umbrella or rain coat if rain is expected
• Water & snack
