Let's ride on rafts through the Elbe Canyon!

Ahój Discoverers!

Let’s head to the north and ride the largest river in the Czech Republic, the Elbe! It won’t be the only superlative of the day as we will raft along the largest (!) sandstone canyon in the whole of Europe and possibly even cross the border to Germany!

Don’t hesitate a book your place because the group size is limited to max. 20 people!

DIFFICULTY: Easy to Medium
You have to be able to swim to join!
Some physical stamina is needed as you will ride some 15 km long stretch of the river.

LOGISTICS & PLAN OF THE DAY
We will meet at 8:30 am at Prague Main Station in front of the main ticket office on the lower ground floor. If you can not find the group, call me at +420 739 370 212.

The train ride to Děčín takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. After arriving to the river side (about 15 minutes walk from the train station), we will pick up the rafts.

You will be briefed about how to manoeuvre them on the river and off you go!

The plan is to ride some 15 km/9 miles long stretch of the river from Děčín to the picturesque village of Schmilka in Germany.
If necessary due to unforseen delays and/or not-so-good weather, the trip might be shortened to no less charming Hřensko on the Czech side of the border.
This is a very long trip, expected arrival back in Prague is at 21:10!

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU:
Shoes to wear in water (sandals, or you can buy special shoes for walking in water), wear clothes which dry fast (NOT jeans), sunscreen, bottle of water, a small snack.

You need to have a passport or EU identity card with you!

Put all your staff to a small compact bag. You'll be able to leave some belongings with the raft rental company.

Bring some Euros for a coffee or ice-cream in Germany (optional).

LUNCH: We’ll stop in the middle of the way in a restaurant (on the Czech side of the border, not included).

PRICE: 1090 Kč
Includes the train and bus fare, equipment rental and myself as your guide and instructor.

Food is not included.
