Saturday Walk in the East End of Prague

Hello Discoverers!

I would like to invite you to another urban discovery walk, this time in the "East End" of Prague.

We are going to explore the cityscape between the Palmovka and Kolbenova metro stations.

This area does not have a good reputation but you will be surprised how green, diverse and very interesting this part of Prague is!

We are going to visit former slums, walk in forests and orchards, see fancy villas and industrial sites turned into new residential neighbourhoods.

DIFFICULTY: Easy to Medium
Only about 7km/4 miles but with 150 meters/400 ft of vertical gain quite hilly. You will be rewarded by unexpected lookouts and surprising views of Prague.

MEETING POINT
We will meet at 10:00 outside of the metro B station "Palmovka" (Exit E9), in front of "Libeřské lahůdky" shop.

BRING WITH YOU

• Comfortable walking shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. An umbrella or raincoat if rain is expected.
• Long pants and closed shoes recommend as there will be nettles and tall grass along the way.
• Water & snack

This is a dog and child friendly event!

End point: "Kolbenova" metro B station, around 13:00
