REVISED: Historic Laurel Park Walk (1 of 2)

Details
If you've done this walk before, the location has changed. The parking lot at Laurel and S. Orange has been closed so they can build another condo (just what Sarasota needs). Read the bottom of this description for where to park. The walk is about 2 miles.
The revised walk inclu des The US Garage, The McAlpin House, Burns Ct., Burns Square (formerly Herald Square) and the Laurel Park neighborhood with the emphasis on Oak and Laurel St and Madison Court. The focus will be on the typical architecture of the 1920s, Owen Burns, who developed much of the area, and his two primary architects, Thomas Reed Martin and Dwight Baum.
The art colony, Towles Court, isn't included in this walk.
I send emails with updates about 4-5 days before the walk, so check your email.
PLUS ONES: If you want to bring someone to the event, you must add them when you sign up. You can't sign them up later and you can't bring them if they aren't signed up. Also, no walk ons. You must be on the list to attend.
