Next Exhibition - Art Center Sarasota

For a $5 contribution to help support the programs of the Art Center of Sarasota, please join me and Exhibition Coordinator, Christina, for a guided tour of the latest exhibits on display in the four galleries of the building. Payment will be collected at the door.

Annual Juried Regional Show is Art Center Sarasota’s largest and most prestigious juried exhibition, spanning all four of our galleries. This year, we invited artists to delve into the dualities of the human condition—Vice & Virtue.

By definition, vice represents behaviors deemed morally wrong by society, while virtue embodies excellence and integrity. But in today’s world, where do we draw the line? Through this theme, artists were challenged to explore the shifting boundaries of morality, shaped by cultural norms, religious beliefs, and political landscapes. What defines good and evil in contemporary society? And perhaps more intriguingly, does a gray area exist between them?

Please plan to arrive early to park behind the building (as the front lot is under construction). Also please wear your DGS badge and check in with me in the front of the building upon arriving. If you need a badge, text me to make one for you ($5 for the badge).
