NEW: Bike Turtle Beach to Siesta Village, then Brunch

Details
Ths ride is about 16-17 miles at a relaxing pace between 10-12 mph. There will be occasional stops to look at significant and historic architecture with an emphasis on the Sarasota School of Architecture, particularly the buildings of Paul Rudolph and Tim Seibert. See architecturesarasota.org.
From Turtle Beach we pedal on Midnight Pass Rd, checking out occasional neighborhoods along the way before cutting through to Ocean Boulevard and then into Siesta Village before returning to Turtle Beach. Some stops include St. Boniface Episcopal Church, John D. MacDonald's home (jdmhomepage.org), The Out of Door Academy and some of the Lamolithic homes of Paul Rudolph and Ralph Twitchell.
After, join me for brunch at the nearby Turtles restaurant (turtles restaurant.com).
BRING: road ready bike, helmet (mandatory), water, snacks, etc.
DIRECTIONS: As soon as you turn into Turtle Beach on Turtle Beach Rd., take the first left into the parking lot. Don't continue driving to the fork in the road.
