Please read the entire description before signing up for this event. It is an out of town tour that, with drive time, will take up most of the day. Make sure your calendar is cleared for that day.

Florida Southern College (FSC) in Lakeland, Fl is home to more of the architect Frank Lloyd Wright's buildings (floridasouthern.edu/frank-lloyd-wright-home/tours) than anyplace in the world. The tour of those buildings is 90 minutes long and will be led by a guide from the college.

FEES: The fee for the basic tour is $32 as long as at least 15 people attend. The college requests that I collect money from each attendee and then pay them, so you need to bring the exact amount in cash and give it to me.

PARKING: You can park on the campus or on side streets. School is in session so the college recommends you allow at least 30 minutes to find parking. I'd suggest car pooling as much as possible. We can talk more about that when enough people sign up.

DRIVING: It's about a 90 minutes drive to Lakeland from central Sarasota so you should allow a minimum of two hours, including the time it takes to find parking. I'm thinking 2 and a half hours to be safe.

LUNCH: After the tour, join me for lunch at The Joinery Food Hall, 640 E. Main St., Lakeland, Fl.

You can call the college at 863-680-4597.
