DGS Annual Fundraiser - The Nest at The Bay Park (near Van Wezel)

Happy Holidays to all our DGS Friends!

We hope you have enjoyed all the events your organizers have been able to offer you in 2025 and will consider helping us to kick off future events by supporting our efforts to raise funds to cover costs. Our costs generally include Meetup.com website usage and trouble-shooting support, supplies to create and print badges, and other expenses related to events or nominal support for non-profit organizations that offer tours to our members. A $5 donation will help us in covering these expenses. If you prefer to use Venmo or Zellepay, please message me for details. Due to additional fees charged by Paypal, we have discontinued its use.

To celebrate our appreciation for your membership and participation in DGS, please join us at our annual fundraiser event at the NEST (outdoor venue) at The Bay Park, along the Boulevard of the Arts, anytime between 11:00 and 1:00. We will have cold cut sliders and snacks to share. Mike will lead a walk around the park to discuss the history of The Bay. He will also offer a mini-class on how to speak "Sarasotan" - a must-have for any new residents to our area.

If you have already contributed for 2026, please come on out to greet us and other members. All are welcome to enjoy this event and venue. Please wear your badge to this event or if you need a new badge, send me a message in advance. All new members will be provided a badge.

The best parking available is near the Sarasota Orchestra office, the Municipal building and pagoda, or in front of the Van Wezel Theater or along the side street there.
