Round Trip Bike Casey Key to The Venice Jetties

We start promptly at 9:00 am, so make sure you arrive at least ten minutes early so you can be pedal ready at that time. The ride is approximately 13 miles long at speeds between 10-12 mph.

From the park we head west, then make a right turn so we can ride along the road with great Gulf views. We turn around at the gated entrance to Casey Key and ride to the Venice Jetties, where we take a break for about 15 minutes. Bathrooms are available at Blackburn Point Park/Boat Ramp and the jetties. After the break we return the way except we don't take the detour to ride along the Gulf.

BRING: road-ready bike (make sure it's fit and ready before you arrive), helmet (mandatory), water, snacks, etc.

DIRECTIONS: From 41, head west on Blackburn Point Rd. Note there are two Blackburn Point Park entrances. The first is on the left and the address is 421. DO NOT TURN THERE. You must continue over the one-way swing bridge to reach the second park/ramp entrance, which is on the right, across from The Casey Key Fish House.
