Easy Biking on the Legacy Trail

This ride is being modified due to the heat. There are two different rides.
This Tuesday we'll do Ride 1. If the weather is cooler and people are amenable, we can ride farther.
Ride 1 starts at Culverhouse Park and goes north to Bahia Vista St. which is the turnaround. There's a break at the Sarasota Springs trailhead befroe returning to Culverhouse.
Ride 2 starts at Culverhouse and heads south to a gazebo near Oscar Sherer State Park. We take a break at the gazebo and then return to Culverhouse.
If Culverhouse is closed due to flooding, we'll move the start to 7905 McIntosh Rd., which is another Legacy Trail parking lot about a mile away.
jEach ride will take about an hour and cover about 10 miles at speeds between 10-13 mph.
We leave promptly at 9 am, earlier if everyone is ready before. Plan to arrive 10 minues early so we can leave on time.
BRING: road ready bike,water, tire repair kit, helmet (mandatory), snack, etc.
Helmets are mandatory for all bike rides. If you show up without one, you'll be asked to leave. Failure to comply will result in the individual being removed from group membership.
