Launch of Discovery Unlimited

We are excited to share an important update for our community: Singapore Digital Photography on Meetup will now be rebranded as Discovery Unlimited (DU), the brand‑new photography‑travel arm under the Adventures Unlimited (AU) umbrella.

DU will officially launch in 2027, and we are hosting our DU Soft Launch on

Time: 7 - 9pm

All group members are warmly invited to attend.

Our DU approach
We focus on *guidance and sharing — not strict instruction or hand‑holding*.

There is zero pressure to create perfect photos, and expensive camera gear is not required. Non‑photographers are also welcome to join events alongside their friends or partners.

What events you can expect going forward
- Photography Basics sessions: Recommended foundational learning before joining photohikes and photowalks
- Photohikes: Light hiking combined with landscape and cityscape photography practice
- Photowalks: Local Singapore urban shooting outings across iconic spots (National Gallery, Merlion Park, Haji Lane, Chinatown and more)
- Training Hikes: Build physical fitness for overseas expeditions. Note: city photography days can involve 30 000+ steps.

Beyond field outings, look forward to photo‑sharing sessions and our upcoming *Annual DU Photography Awards*.
