Disrupt Meetup | Blockchain as a Service - An Insight from Microsoft

Coming together in Zurich, this Disrupt meetup in partnership with Microsoft focuses on how Blockchain can be applied in several areas on an enterprise level.

The focus of this meetup is multi-pronged in approach. The first presentation by Microsoft will offer a deep dive into Microsoft’s vision of Blockchain as a Service and details on how to get started on building and deploying blockchain based applications within Azure. The second presentation is to provide an insight into the future of venture capitals and how they are supporting enterprise based players via tokenization (in particular security tokens) to optimize portions of their businesses through the decentralization and transparency that blockchain offers.

(1) Michele Tedesco, Technical Specialist Azure Application Development, Microsoft Switzerland

Michele has over 14 years of experience in software engineering. He is a specialist focused on Microsoft Azure application development. In his role he helps enterprises to transform their core businesses by leveraging cloud capabilities and making us of DevOps practices.

(2) Vinzent Zerner, Co-Founder & Business Development, Stableton Financial AG

Vinzent has a bachelor in psychology and management, after which he worked for Capgemini Consulting. Thereafter, he worked for a hyper-growth company in Berlin and became COO of a crypto start-up. Currently, he is Co-Founder of a fintech in Zurich focusing on alternative investments and also a founding member of the blockchain initiative Hessen.
