About us

What happens when you stop thinking… in the usual way?
Disruptive Creativity is a practical, playful workshop series for anyone curious about finding new ways to approach ideas, conversations, projects, problems, and everyday life.

We’ll experiment with ways of seeing, thinking and creating that deliberately disrupt our usual habits. Expect surprising prompts, strange connections, dialogues, visual thinking, and the occasional unhelpful idea.

Across the series, we’ll draw on lateral thinking, improvisation, storytelling, philosophy, design thinking, role play and other creative traditions. You’ll try things out with other curious thinkers rather than simply talk about creativity, and discover what happens when familiar ways of thinking are given a little shake up.

We see creativity as a potential within everyone, not something mysterious or rare. You don't need to think of yourself as "creative" to find it — it's already there, waiting to be nurtured, if we only find the right conditions for it to grow.

The point isn’t to produce polished work. It’s to become more curious about how you think, more comfortable with uncertainty, and more willing to explore possibilities that you might normally dismiss.

Expect a welcoming, thoughtful and playful space. There’s no pressure to get things “right”. In fact, getting it wrong is often where the interesting things begin.
No experience needed. Just curiosity and a willingness to take part.
