"Homebush to Rhodes" Easter Sunday Walk via Sydney-Olympic-Park's-Amazing-Secrets-12km!

WHY WALK?

NOTE: "Meeting Point" - Homebush Station Exit (north side, Loftus Cres)

"Special Easy Walk" 12km but flat as a pancake haha! Love this Zig-Zag tour.

Let's hit the track, Ismay Reserve, Arnotts Reserve, Pipi's Garden, walk alongside Powells Creek, Mason Park's amazingly beautiful wetlands we view waterbirds in action. Lake Belvedere we circuit then walk past "Cyrus the Great" Monument. Quick break, rehydrate at Dolce Bakehouse & Gelato.

Bennelong Ponds walk to Badu Mangroves where we zig-zag 20 times until we get to Bicentenary Park Pathway heading north towards Coastal Saltmarsh and Waterbird Refuge.

Reaching the Hornswaggle Observation Tower, easy short climb if you like. Quick visit to Shipwreck Lookout. YES Shipwreck is there!, and a Bird Hide. Bay Marker Wentworth Point is a must plus the Brickpit Ring Walk is amazing.

Last sections, Marinas Cove and The Promenade Walk to Rhodes where we can sit, enjoy a drink.

Distance: 12km
Difficulty: Easy flat walk, exit spots. Paths, tracks and walkways!

Walking Pace: An easy steady pace at 4.25km-4.50km per hour.
Bring: water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, a raincoat in case. Bring your happy personality too!
