WHAT IS GENERATIVE AI?
Generative AI is a rapidly advancing technology that is transforming how we tackle challenges in the modern world. Recently, generative AI has been everywhere in the news — through the fame of ChatGPT, and the growth of text-to-image in our social media posts. But beyond amusing smartphone apps and convenient ways for students to avoid writing essays, worldwide acceptance of AI will change the way businesses work, create new ideas, and expand in the near future.

Some problems (as suggested by Bard a generative AI by Google):

  • Accuracy problems. ChatGPT is not always accurate in its responses, and can sometimes generate incorrect or misleading information.
  • Bias problems. ChatGPT has been shown to reflect the biases of the data it was trained on.
  • Privacy problems. ChatGPT can be used to collect personal information from users, which could be used to track them or target them.
  • Misuse problems. This form of AI could be used to spread misinformation or to create deepfakes creating false and misleading information.
