Back by Popular Demand: The Slick Leave Century Ride – Purcellville Edition!
We’re doing it again—and you’re invited.
The District Cycling Collective is heading back out for another legendary Friday ride: 100 miles from DC to Purcellville, VA and back. After the first Slick Leave Century, we knew we had something special. The trails were clear, the weather was perfect, and the vibes? Immaculate.
This ride is for anyone who’s already completed at least 50 miles and is ready—or feels ready—to take on the full century challenge. We believe in pushing limits, supporting one another, and celebrating every mile. If you’ve got the heart, we’ve got the squad.

Meetup Spot: Hains Point – Golf Course Parking Lot
Arrival Time: 6:30 AM
Roll Out: 7:00 AM sharp
We’ll follow the scenic Mount Vernon Trail, connect to Four Mile Run, and then ride the W&OD Trail all the way out to Purcellville. Our key rest stops will be Green Lizard Bike Shop (~25 miles out) and Purcellville (the turnaround point). Expect good energy, strong legs, and great company.
