Anacostia Park Paceline (APP)
APP is a weekly paceline workout at Anacostia Park, designed for riders looking to sharpen their group riding skills, build fitness, and connect with a supportive cycling community.
Meet-Up Spot:
Near the skating pavilion at Anacostia Park.
Ride Format:
We roll out at 18 mph, increasing the pace by 1 mph every 4-mile loop. Each rider takes a turn “on the wheel,” rotating to the front of the paceline and pulling for as long—or as short—as their fitness allows. Whether you’re new to pacelining or have miles under your belt, it’s all about riding smart, smooth, and together.
Each loop is 4 miles, and you’re welcome to jump in or step out of the paceline at any point.
