ABSTRACTS
# End of LIfe Data — Are They R.I.P.? #
Cyber-attacks happen every minute. Data security is obviously becoming more critical and necessary for anyone involved in cybersecurity. The quantity and sophistication of cyber-attacks are constantly on the rise. Hence, more proactive action is required to minimise the impact of cyber-attacks. One essential part is to ensure that your End of Life (EOL) data are 100% removed from their storage media and giving you peace of mind that they are truly R.I.P
Donald Wee from Data Terminator will share with you the security concern when EOL data is not RIP and how technology and processes can help to address the concerns and meeting local and international regulatory compliances requirements.
# Disclosure Diary #01 — Click-to-Pwn: Applying Offensive Reverse Engineering to Facebook Gameroom and Other Stories from BountyCon #
Eugene Lim will share the details of a high-severity vulnerability in Facebook Gameroom that placed him in the top rankings of BountyCon, an invitation-only live hacking event by Facebook. He will share the deep technical details of finding and exploiting this vulnerability and give tips for finding your own bugs.
