Willkommen zum 1. Meet Up rund um Diversität und Dazugehören. Wie schön, dass Du da bist!

Fühlst Du dich gehört, mit dem was du sagst? Hast Du manchmal das Gefühl, dass andere Menschen um dich herum nicht gehört werden, aufgrund von Faktoren, die sie nicht kontrollieren können? Möchtest Du da zu Veränderungen beitragen können? Wir befassen uns im MeetUp No. 1 mit einer pragmatischen Art und Weise des Power-Sharings (Dt: an der Macht teilhaben lassen, jemandem Macht zukommen lassen).

Wir kommen zusammen, um zu erkunden, was wir individuell tun können, um Vielfalt und Teilhaben - so, dass man sich wirklich wohlfühlt und sich frei entfalten kann- im (Arbeits)Alltag herbeizuführen. Dafür sind einerseits strukturelle Maßnahmen und Mechanismen ein Hebel mit entscheidender Wirkung - UND eben auch die ganz konkreten Handlungen von vielen vielen Einzelpersonen. Und das ist unser Fokus hier. Mit dem Ziel, durch eigenes Erleben einen Aha-Moment zu erfahren, teilen wir unsere Erkenntnisse dazu in der Gruppe und nehmen uns konkret eine Idee, einen Satz, eine Handlungsalternative mit in den Alltag. Bestärkt darin, dass wir etwas tun können und beschwingt in dem Wissen, dass es eine Wirkung hat.

Was von dem, was uns jemand erzählt - bleibt eigentlich bei uns hängen? Und warum genau das?
Nach einer angeleiteten Übung, erkunden wir beobachtete Mechanismen und enden mit konkreten Handlungen, die du dir individuell für deinen Alltag mitnehmen möchtest.

Welcome to the 1st Meet Up about diversity and belonging. We are so happy you are here!

Do you feel heard in social or work situations? Do you sometimes feel people around you don’t feel heard in the same situations because of some factors they cannot control? Do you wish to change that? Today's topic is dedicated to the concept of power-sharing (using your power to elevate others, giving power to someone) and being heard.

We come together to explore what we can do individually to bring about diversity of lived realities and genuine participation - at a level where we feel truely comfortable to express ourselves fully - in everyday (work) life. On the one hand, structural measures and mechanisms are a lever with a decisive effect - and on the other hand, the very specific actions of many many individuals make a decisive difference. And that's our focus here. With the aim of having an aha-moment in a shared experience, we share our insights in the group and take a new idea, a line or a specific action or behavior with us into everyday life. We leave empowered in that we have agency and elated in the knowledge that it has an impact.

What do we actually hear when someone shares? What sticks with us and why? These and other questions are our realm of interest and we will explore together what you can do to give others the space to be listened-to. We end with specific action items that you want to implement in your daily life.
