Bessere virtuelle Zusammenarbeit mit Serious Game Eternal Ice und Team Mental Model

Diesmal geht es um virtuelle Zusammenarbeit in diversen Teams. Was virtuelle und divers zusammengesetzte Teams zum Erfolg führt, ist ein sogenanntes Team Mental Model. Jedes Team sollte eine gemeinsame Vorstellung der Aufgaben, Strukturen und Ziele haben. Divers aufgestellte Teams insbesondere haben einen Erfahrungsreichtum durch die Teammitglieder. Das ist sinnvoll und hat einen großen Mehrwert für viele Teams, erhöht jedoch die Herausforderung, ein Team Mental Model zu bilden. Dies gilt besonders in virtuellen oder hybrid arbeitenden Teams, da die Kommunikation anders als gewohnt abläuft.

Mit der Simulation Eternal Ice, entwickelt und durchgeführt von unserem Gast - Facilitator Sven Olaf Nix der unmute GbR werdet ihr als Team die Prinzipien des Team Mental Models ganz praktisch erfahren.

Die Antarktis - Ewiges Eis bedeckt diesen lebensfeindlichen Kontinent. Menschen leben hier nur auf den wenigen Forschungsstationen, die der Kälte trotzen können. Schlüpft in die Rolle des Koordinationsteams des fiktiven International Antarctica Institutes und koordiniert die Arbeit der Forscher:innen aus der Ferne durch geschicktes Ressourcenmanagement. Die Verantwortung für die gesamte Besatzung der Weyprecht Station II liegt in euren Händen!

Die Simulation basiert auf Kolb's Experiential Learning Cycle und ist in englischer Sprache gehalten, die Sprache unter den Teilnehmer:innen ist freigestellt.

Dieses Meet Up wird in zwei Teilen stattfinden:
Für den größten Mehrwert sollten die Teilnehmer:innen beide Termine besuchen.
Teil 1: 02.11.2022 17:30 - 21:00
Teil 2: 09.11.2022 17:30 - 21:00

Das MeetUp wird als hybride Veranstaltung angeboten: du kannst zu Hause 18.00 Uhr vom Laptop teilnehmen oder uns im InterLokal 17.30 Uhr treffen! Wenn Du zum InterLokal kommst:

• bring unbedingt deinen Laptop, Ladekabel & Kopfhörer mit
• Flammkuchen, Pizza oder Suppe der Saison können dein Abendessen sein :)

Die Teilnehmer:innen Zahl ist auf 12 begrenzt. Sollte es viel Interesse geben, werden evtl. weitere Termine angeboten.

Improved virtual cooperation with serious games and Team Mental Model

This time it's about virtual collaboration in diverse teams. What leads virtual and diverse teams to success is a so-called Team Mental Model. Every team should have a shared idea about tasks, structures and goals. Divers teams especially have a treasure of experiences through their individual team members. That is useful and has great value for the team, but it can turn the creation of a shared mental model to a challenge. That accounts especially for virtual teams, as communication is not as in face-to-face meetings.

Through the simulation Eternal Ice, developed and conducted by our guest facilitator Sven Olaf Nix of unmute (GP) you will apply the principles of Team Mental Models as a team and experience them first hand.

The Antarctic - Eternal ice covers this hostile continent. Humans live here only in the few research facilities that can withstand the cold. Slip in the roles of the coordination team of the International Antarctica Institute and coordinate the scientific tasks of the researchers from your home office through clever resource management. The responsibility for the entire crew of the Weyprecht Station II lies in your hands!

The simulation is based on Kolb's Experiential Learning Cycle and is designed in English, the language among the participants can be decided in the group according to preferences.

This Meet Up will be split into two parts:
For the greatest added value, participants should take part in both sessions.
Part 1: 02.11.2022 5:30pm - 9:00pm
Part 2: 09.11.2022 5:30pm - 21:00pm

MeetUp is offered as a hybrid event: you can participate at 6.00pm from your laptop at home or meet us at InterLokal at 5:30pm! When you join us at InterLokal:

• be sure to bring your laptop, charging cable & headphones
• Tarte flambée, pizza or seasonal soup can be your dinner :)

The maximum number of participants is twelve. Depending on your interest in this event, we may offer this game events again. Put on your warm coat and dive into an exciting journey to Antarctica!
