This is the first event in NZ hosted by Elegant Themes the maker of Divi.

Why this Meetup?

The aim is to build an open and collaborative community who love Divi and wish to support and share ideas to make the world a better Divi Nation.

Many Meetups have a facebook group or Slack channel to connect, support and share ideas. We want to eat our own dog food (pun hopefully you get it) and do this with a site built with WordPress, BuddyPress and Divi. A private area to connect, collaborate and get help, plus share projects you are working on.

Guest Speaker Presentation

Each month we have a different topic from our guest presenter as well as a demo of some new Divi feature releases. This month we will look at Hover Editing, which provides an exciting dimension to any site.

The other topic is Website Security and how to lock-down and protect your WordPress website. Due to WordPress being the most popular website building platform on the planet, means it gets a lot of “unwanted” attention from “professionals” determined to put it down. Some justifiable reasons are security concerns. Come and understand the steps you can take how to effectively eliminate that threat.

At this Meetup our presenter is Rob Robertson. Rob is the owner of Unboxed Digital and has been a WordPress developer for almost 10 years.
